One of the main attractions in the famed city of Port Royal, Gloria’s ‘Rendevous’ stands as one of Kingston’s most respected restaurants. It is most popular for their steamed fish. With its original venue intact, and an impressive renovation and expansion of its street-side ‘tavernesque’ shop, Gloria’s is more than ready to accommodate and satisfy you and yours. Now in the city!
Gloria’s Seafood in Jamaica is a must-visit! I had the Brown Stew Fish, and it was packed with rich, authentic flavors—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Salted Cod Fish was equally delicious, a true taste of Jamaican cuisine. I paired my meal with a Whiskey Sour, which was refreshing and balanced. The vibrant atmosphere and warm service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Pretty consistent with the quality of taste with the food prepared. A+. Perhaps more 🇯🇲 themed music. But good job TeamGloria
Went on a Saturday night the place was packed. My order took over an hour to be ready but it was worth the wait the food was 9/10
The food (once it eventually arrives) is good but the staff are inattentive and basically unfriendly - bordering on hostile. You will feel like a hindrance not a guest. This is a recurring theme from the waitstaff to the cashier. It’s a poor customer experience in this day and age, but the place was busy - so I guess they continue to get away with it but I wouldn’t rush back which is a shame as this place could be great. There was no management or leadership visible on a Friday evening - Gloria’s needs a captain.
The steamed snapper was absolutely delicious. Spending my first evening eating snapper in Jamaica with a water view was a great way to end my first day in this beautiful country.
